Twice a year...

I love these guys. (Well, I love these guys all the time, despite how the title makes it look!)

And I can't imagine my family made up of any other people.

But twice a year I wish I had a reason to shop for these...

I don't even think of it until I happen past the children's department this time of year. Rack after rack of shiny, floaty confections and no one to inflict my nostalgia upon. Even my niece is all grown up and past the frilly dress stage. I need someone to shop vicariously for!

okay, i can't lie, but even with all the emotions and drama my barely 4 year old daughter contributes to her family...the Christmas dress buying event is so fun!!! however, your boys are adorable and i have seen how you deck them out in Christmas gear- pretty comparable =). i say you make up for it and make those boys into handsome gentlemen for sure! can't imagine what you would have done with a little girl =)

After 3 boys, my pink caboose has allowed me to shop for those. By far, the most fun I've had in a department store to date, although she quite prefers her overalls and ball cap.

Hope your Christmas was lovely. Mine nearly did me in. Glad to pack it away and press on into 2009.
